As part of the Sales Team, the
AFTERMARKET SALES works closely with the Process Engineers, Proposal Engineers and Sales Manager.

This position is hybrid in Ontario with visits to the Production Facility in Puslinch. Compensation includes a competitive salary plus commission and benefits.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Promote OEM spare parts, equipment upgrades/retrofits and other services.
  • Drive spare parts sales by engaging customers during both initials capitals sales and aftersales services.
  • Facilitate timely quotations and followup for both spare parts and service requests.
  • Manage entire Parts & Service process from quote to cash (including estimating, quotations, purchasing, installing/commissioning etc.)
  • Optimize and manage inventory levels of spare parts.
  • Collect and analyze component life cycles and performance.
  • Meet Parts & Service departmental goals and objectives.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations. Facilitate maintaining and expanding working relationships.
  • Provide courteous customer followups to ensure satisfaction with equipment operation.
  • Maintain an accurate and uptodate customer database using Salesforce.
  • Participate in industry conferences, tradeshows and other marketing events.
  • Travel is required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:


  • 5 years experience in mineral processing/heavy equipment/machinery, preferably dealing with mechanical design and/or aftermarket sales and/or mill maintenance.
  • 35 years experience in aftermarket sales.
  • A solid understanding of mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in servicing and repairing electromechanical and hydraulic equipment.
  • Detailedoriented with good diagnostic and problem solving skills.
  • Mechanical Technologist or equivalent technical experience.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Salesforce
