    The Opportunity

    South Bow Corporation is seeking a Manager of Treasury, reporting to the VP, Finance. As part of the South Bow team, the Treasury Manager will lead a team responsible for day- to-day cash management, foreign exchange and interest rate management, finance and pension asset management.

    What you'll do

  • Lead all aspects of Canadian and U.S. cash management including but not limited to cash forecasting, daily cash positioning, creation and approval of payments, bank administration, monitoring and investigating bank account activity, letters of credit and intercompany loans
  • Work with Sr. Leaders to develop and execute financing strategies including bond, equity, bank and credit facility transactions
  • Develop strategies for foreign exchange and interest rate management
  • Develop and maintain banking relationships
  • Manage credit ratings and liaise with rating agencies
  • Manage commercial and administrative aspects of corporate finance
  • Oversee the execution of pension investment strategies, governance and administration of various DB/DC pension plans and trusts in Canada and the U.S.
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, processes and controls for South Bow and ensure compliance
  • Prepare materials for distribution and participate in various senior leadership meetings and committees
  • Collaborate, communicate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external groups (risk management, accounting, tax, human resources, legal, banks, investment managers, pension service providers) as required to deliver results
  • Support the transition to a new ERP
  • Other ad hoc projects across the CFO group as necessary
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, tax or accounting
  • CFA, CPA or MBA
  • 10+ years related experience
  • Education and experience in combination will be considered
  • Leadership experience
  • Ability to work, contribute and collaborate within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks to deliver on competing deadlines
  • Agile and flexible, and ability to make decisions quickly with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
  • Proven ability to embrace, manage and champion change
