Intent of the process:

This process will be used to staff an indeterminate part-time position hours per week.

Information you must provide:

Your résumé.

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives

Degree equivalency

Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, such as psychology, sociology, justice or criminology

Degree equivalency

Experience using police databases, such as PROS, CPIC and InfoPol

Experience working with the RCMP in an operational police environment, or with law enforcement partners such as non-RCMP police services, justice and corrections officials, or parole and probation officers

Willing and able to complete extensive amounts of keyboarding and data-entry

Willing and able to be exposed to graphic details concerning violent sexual offences and homicides against children and adults

The successful applicant will have to obtain an RCMP security clearance.

The process also requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of credit/finances, education, employment, references, on-line activities, alcohol and/or drug use, etc.

Successful applicant is required to work in Regina, Saskatchewan. Telework or alternate work locations will not be an option.


Preference:


Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
