- High School Diploma, with some Community College experience preferred. Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License, Valid Class G Ontario Driver's license, and current valid First Aid and CPR Certificates.
Experience:
- Two years of experience in the security field is preferred. Experience and training in the Ontario Use of Force Model including certification in the use of expandable batons and handcuffs is preferred.
Skills:

Notes: Excessive physical demands involved in this position: Assignments include walking on campus for up to 12-hour Night shifts (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) with a rotating schedule over a two (2) weeks period, or as scheduled based, on operating requirements, 24/7. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Peak periods occur throughout the year and are dependent upon the scheduling of special events or student functions (i.e. registration fair, orientation week, convocation, etc.) and the overall university academic year.
Definable peak periods include:
September, October, January, February, and March Positions designated as bilingual require written and oral fluency in the French and English languages.
