Job Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
  • Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
  • Upsell drinks and promote special events or promotions

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a hotel food and beverage environment a plus.
  • Must have experience with mixology and proper use of bar tools.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of spirits and their use in mixology.
  • Able to follow recipes and prepare bar syrups, garnishes for signature cocktails.
  • Responsible for bar sanitation on a pershift basis, and maintains temperature logs, date labels.
  • Knowledge of local Craft Beer market an asset.
  • Must have basic wine knowledge and wine service etiquette skills.
  • Experience in cash handling and managing inventory
  • Ability to work in a team environment and multitask effectively
  • Food Safety Certification a plus, but not required. Will train.
  • Able to lift 40lbs

Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
