Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell drinks and promote special events or promotions
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hotel food and beverage environment a plus.
- Must have experience with mixology and proper use of bar tools.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of spirits and their use in mixology.
- Able to follow recipes and prepare bar syrups, garnishes for signature cocktails.
- Responsible for bar sanitation on a pershift basis, and maintains temperature logs, date labels.
- Knowledge of local Craft Beer market an asset.
- Must have basic wine knowledge and wine service etiquette skills.
- Experience in cash handling and managing inventory
- Ability to work in a team environment and multitask effectively
- Food Safety Certification a plus, but not required. Will train.
- Able to lift 40lbs
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours:

- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
