Richmond School District operates 37 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and a number of additional facilities.

The district enrolls approximately 22,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3000 dedicated staff.

Matthew McNair is a comprehensive 8-12 school with a focus on student voice and promoting a well-rounded education. Staff and students pride themselves on their reputation for academic achievement and for being caring and respectful citizens.

A main goal is a focus on encouraging students to be socially responsible citizens who participate in the larger community and feel connected to and proud of our school.

The second goal is to continue to explore new teaching and assessment strategies to help our students achieve even greater success.


Salary Grid as per Teacher's Collective Agreement current salary range is $57,984.00 to $107,490.00 annually plus a comprehensive benefits package.
