About the Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Student to join our World Class Manufacturing team for a contract term (April 2024- October

The student will be assisting with writing Standardized Work Instruction.

Your Responsibilities

1. Perform time studies using an Observation Preparation Sheet and analysing using a Manual Observation Time Sheet.
2. Create and analyse Standardized Work Combination Table, Standardized Work Chart, and Work Balance Table
3. Understand Process Stability/Repeatability - consistently meet productivity, quality, cost, lead time, safety, and environmental targets.
4. Audits identify weakness/problems in manufacturing and to prioritize them.
5. Develop standard work by operators for operators and engage employees and involve them.
6. Reducing variation to achieve process stability for continuous improvements initiatives.

Who we are looking for

• Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering student at an accredited College or University
• Manufacturing experience, preferred
