We are currently seeking an experienced
Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide tactical, hands-on recruitment and sourcing for many diverse roles across the organization.

Reporting to the Manager of Recruitment, this position will have a talent sourcing delivery focus, supporting Tetra Tech's talent acquisition strategy for growth and success into the future.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with Tetra Tech's Practice and Unit Leaders to determine strategies for recruitment to help them meet their business objectives.


Some of the Responsibilities You May Have:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify upcoming manpower needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct endtoend recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and making offers of employment.
  • Conduct research, collect and analyze data to drive effective recruitment and enhance the recruitment process.
  • Network and attend industry and recruitment events to increase brand awareness and attract key talent.
  • Provide coverage and related administrative support to the recruitment and Human Resources team as required.
  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Management, or Marketing.
  • Proven successful experience as a recruiter, and ideally, 2+ years recruiting and sourcing experience with corporate recruitment, or an HR team or with a search firm/staffing industry.
  • Previous experience conducting research, prospecting, and managing recruitment competitions and or projects, and process improvement in recruitment and selection best practices.
  • Experience with data mining, database scrubbing, using advanced search techniques, cold calling, and name generation list building.
  • Proficient with webbased recruiting systems, internet tools, direct sourcing methods, and advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and welldeveloped interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional time management and adaptability skills as this is a fastpaced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experience hiring talent globally and within the engineering, construction, technology sector is considered a strong asset but is not required.
  • Experience writing complex search strings would be considered an asset.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, consistent communication, and follow up initiative, with superior decisionmaking skills.
