Action Car and Truck Accessories is Canada's only national car and truck accessory retailer and distributor to both the private and industry sectors.

With our head office in Moncton, New Brunswick, we have 42 stores and distribution centres across the country. We are currently seeking a Shipping Lead Hand to join our Edmonton Distribution team.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees in loading and unloading materials
  • Reviewing invoices and preparing paperwork for shipments
  • Picking orders as needed
  • Operating material handling equipment
  • Scheduling shipments and planning logistics
  • Reviewing orders for accuracy
  • Tracking and updating status of shipments
  • Documenting damages to inventory
  • Troubleshooting shipping issues
  • Assist the Distribution Center Manager and Operations Supervisor as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Forklift licence an asset
  • Ability to work with scanners and computers
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Office/Administrative clerk experience considered an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs
