The
Finance Manager will manage Decision Support activities for the Technology organization.

This role will be responsible for supporting leaders across the organization from a finance perspective, with a key focus on guiding them through decisions on strategic priorities.

The role will serve as a lead liaison with Technology leaders and segment/function finance.


About the Role

In this opportunity as
Finance Manager, you will:


  • Partner with Functional leaders and Operational teams on strategic priorities and initiatives
  • Partner with other DSIG finance teams to deliver financial information and other data to Operational and Finance leaders, including providing recommendations and suggesting alternative actions through insight
  • Ownership of forwardlooking information, including decision making on areas of judgement, based on business knowledge and financial trends
  • Develop effective relationships with Operational and Finance teams
  • Support business case preparation and investment decisions
  • Guide business teams through the investment process, enabling decisions based on investment effectiveness / ROI
  • Collaborate with Operational team to develop capital forecast by product/capability
  • Engage with Operational and Finance partners to operationalize the forecast
  • Inform on opportunities / risks based on financial position and forecast
  • Monitor key metrics closely to identify or to anticipate shortfalls or other shifts in the business requiring corrective action
  • Review financial assumptions and estimates to ensure they are reasonable and accurate and aligned to the O&T strategy
  • Perform adhoc reporting and analysis when necessary

About You
You're a fit for the role of
Finance Manager if your background includes:

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
  • Proactive, very organized, ability to multitask, managing time and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strategic and critical thinker
  • Selfstarter with proven ability to work autonomously, collaborate and influence key leaders within the context of a complex, matrix organization to drive results
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and people skills; Ability to converse with senior management openly and confidently and influence all areas of the business
  • Ability to synthesize information and present results in a clear and concise manner to senior executives
  • Excellent excel modelling skills
  • Anticipating and serving evolving needs
  • Demonstrate adoption of the TR Mindsets and Behaviors
