About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead the Communication and Campaign efforts for a national project aimed at creating feedback channel forums.

These forums will bring together key system actors from various sectors to foster knowledge exchange, innovation, and mutual support for practices that can help Canadian employers better access, hire, train, and retain immigrant talent.

As the Program Communications Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the communication strategies and campaign activities related to the forums.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires excellent project management, communication, creative and leadership skills.

Salary:
$65,000 per annum plus a competitive benefits package

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:


  • Formulate a comprehensive project plan encompassing objectives, timelines, and deliverables to steer the national feedback channel forums project.
  • Provide overarching leadership and strategic guidance for the national feedback channel forums initiative.
  • Efficiently manage a multifaceted team comprising communication specialists, event coordinators, and administrative personnel to attain project objectives.
  • Spearhead and collaborate with a group of adept communication professionals, content creators, designers, and external consultants to proficiently implement communication strategies.
  • Regularly compile progress reports for project stakeholders, detailing updates on communication endeavors, accomplishments, and encountered obstacles.

Development of Communication Strategy:


  • Craft a comprehensive communication strategy harmonizing with project goals, guaranteeing coherent and impactful communication aimed at target audiences.
  • Identify essential stakeholders and audiences, gaining insights into their requirements, concerns, and expectations.
  • Generate persuasive and enlightening communication materials advocating the value and advantages of the feedback channel forums.
  • Recognize potential communicationrelated risks and formulate backup plans for their mitigation.
  • Ensure alignment of all communication efforts with pertinent regulations, policies, and ethical benchmarks.

Planning, Execution, and Evaluation of Campaigns:

  • Strategize and execute communication campaigns to heighten awareness about the forums and elicit active involvement from key stakeholders.
  • Devise captivating content for diverse platforms, encompassing digital mediums, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the creative unit to devise visually captivating and impactful communication assets.
  • Institute measurable criteria for assessing the efficacy of communication endeavors and campaigns.
  • Analyze data and feedback for a comprehensive evaluation of the impact of communication initiatives, and employ datadriven insights for enhancements.

Engagement of Stakeholders and Management of Relationships:

  • Foster and sustain relationships with pivotal stakeholders, including Canadian employers, government representatives, immigrant support organizations, and other pertinent entities.
  • Employ multiple channels, like meetings, webinars, and networking events, to actively involve stakeholders and stimulate their enthusiastic participation in the forums.

Facilitation of Knowledge Exchange:


  • Devise strategies to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, collaboration, and innovation among forum participants.
  • Promote exemplary practices and triumphant case studies that aid Canadian employers in the recruitment, training, and retention of immigrant talent.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated track record of over 5 years in orchestrating communication strategies and campaigns, preferably within a project management capacity.
  • Comprehensive grasp of communication and campaign principles, encompassing core messaging and targeted audience segmentation.
  • Exemplary proficiency in both written and verbal communication, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven adeptness in cultivating and nurturing relationships with a wide array
