Acting as an actuarial resource for the broader team, this entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to build and shape your career in Actuary at TD.

This role requires sound conceptual knowledge with a focus on providing functional business services, advisory or process and program support in an area of specialty.

If you're eager to display your talents for math, research, analysis and tackling daily tasks for the greater team good, this role may be a great fit for you.


As an Actuarial Analyst I, you will:

  • Support the business and overall team by providing general analytical support to the Actuarial function
  • Assist in the preparation of statistical analyses or financial documents involving premiums, losses and expenses and then documenting and verifying applied factors, methodologies and assumptions
  • Contribute in developing management, financial and actuarial data, models or tools
  • Produce documents for regulatory submissions
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
  • Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional area
  • Entry level role with a focus on providing functional specialized business services, advisory or process / program support for own area of specialty, within defined parameters
  • Requires sound conceptual knowledge in their own field of specialty
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment by willingly assisting others in the completion of work, continuously enhancing professional expertise and participating in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
  • Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and TD, both internally and externally
