Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for systematically monitoring quality regulations for products, processes, and working closely with other department managers and supervisory personnel in order to meet and maintain product quality, and identify, solve and prevent problems affecting product quality.


This role will participate and monitor the activities of team members involved in material testing, product inspection, and process audits while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.


Compensation
80,000-85,000 CAD

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe working environment, align with safety regulations, ensure efficient and safe equipment and processes, support the creation of HAA and SOP, and promote cooperation among workers and employers to protect health and safety at the work site.
  • Collaborate with the internal team and other departments to develop and update technical work instructions, support implementation of Quality Assurance initiatives, and conduct nonconformance investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform inspections and audits, manage NCRs and CAPAs, analyze quality KPIs, oversee equipment calibration, and address production issues. Additionally, investigate customer complaints, review tank packages, develop SOPs, conduct supplier inspections, and provide support across multiple facilities and teams.
  • Support Best in Class Cost Saving program and Lean best practices.
  • Manage and execute qualityrelated projects, collaborating with crossfunctional teams and determining project feasibility and priority based on performance and cost justifications.
  • Develop and mentor the team, enhance productivity, prioritize tasks, handle obstacles, oversee hiring, and mentor quality control members to achieve high engagement and performance.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 6 years of prior experience in quality assurance/control in a manufacturing environment
  • Holding Bachelor's degree / Diploma with previous experience with Quality Management System
  • Ability to write detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Training and experience in ISO9001 and quality system audits
  • Outgoing and expressive individual with excellent communication and team building skills.
  • Solid knowledge of quality principles, program requirements, best practices, regulations, and codes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and training skills.

Salary:
$80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
