Aurum Truck & Trailer Ltd. is seeking a full-time Yard Maintenance worker based in Edmonton, AB.

Aurum Truck & Trailer is a newly constructed truck and trailer maintenance facility with a focus on TC406/407 tanker trailers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete daily vehicle checks before operating to ensure they are in operating condition and record all information in daily logs.
Complete daily yard check, recording all trucks and trailers that are on the property, by using unit numbers, company names and license plate numbers.
Maneuver various types of trailers (vans, flat decks, super b's, etc.) into the service shop, customer locations.
Move equipment in and out of the shop and around yard as necessary.
Pick up and deliver trucks and trailers to customer locations.
May pick up parts for the service shop.
Other duties as assigned.
Washing of all equipment inside and out
Replacing mud flaps
Painting
Yard duties
Lawn care/Snow removal
Light maintenance work (assisting technician's)

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid class 1 driver's license required.
Clean driving record containing no more than 3 incidences in 3 years or any major incidences (distracted driving, DUI, suspension). Maintained during employment required.
High School diploma, GED, or other high school equivalence certificate
Excellent Customer Service skills dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers.
Strong written and verbal skills ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues.
Heavy Duty parts knowledge an asset.
