Project Manager - Refinery
TENG Inc. is a fast growing, medium-size engineering consultant company providing engineering and project management services to multiple industry sectors.
We have an immediate need for a
Project Manager - Refinery to be seconded at our client site outside the GTA area.
Job description
- Responsible for developing projects through Stage 2 Scoping and Stage 3 Frontend Engineering.
- Responsible for preparing Gate 2 & Gate 3 Review packages, steward the project to gate reviews completion.
- Responsible for authoring Design Basis, and developing TIC Estimate with support from inhouse Cost Estimator.
- Responsible for stakeholder engagement and driving focal point decisions.
- Manage activities of consultants.
- Follow best practices for projects including the Capital Project Management System (EMCAPs), as required.
- Oil & Gas Industry experience is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 7 years project development experience in oil and gas / petrochemical industry. Refinery experiences is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to make sound decisions
