What you can expect to be doing:3.1 MISSION

  • Partner with clients (Client Service and other support teams) on delivering excellence
  • Improve the consistency and quality of deliverables and enhance the design and impact of what goes out the door
  • Align and uphold the Ipsos brand; It should be everyone's mission to be all aligned to the Ipsos brand
3.2 MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Manage team of automation specialists
  • Set and maintain key performance indicators / metrics for automation team
  • Drive efficiency and promote better data visualization and automation for client deliverables
  • Consult with and advocate for research deliverable automation to team members and stakeholders from different service lines
  • Implement processes and execution of project work
  • Knowledgeable in data management practices and tools
  • Learn, develop materials, and train service line teams on Ipsos local and global tools
  • Provide onthejob guidance and training to automation team as required
  • Lead process improvements and efficiencies
3.3 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Excellent organizational skill with a capacity to plan, prioritize, multitask, and delegate effectively.
  • Collaborate with different teams from within the Studio and various service lines.
  • Ability to manage a team of junior specialists to ensure balance of workload and sufficient support to the client service teams. Be involved in project management and coordination efforts.
  • Be a people manager to set timely objectives, provide constructive feedback, motivate, and develop their knowledge/skill sets to better self and team advancement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with experience in engaging and influencing key stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes.
  • Ensure team members are consistently maintaining the Ipsos standard and delivering highest quality deliverables.
  • Experienced in design and development of PowerPoint report automation programs, automated checking process and analytical tools with the use of VBA, advanced Excel functions, and/or other programming languages.
  • Experience in design and development of interactive dashboards using Excel, Tableau, PowerBI and/or other cloudbased platforms is an asset.
  • Involved in processimprovement initiatives (e.g. online platform enhancement, new automation tools) and provide necessary coaching to project members.
  • Work with external stakeholders/ vendors on contract agreements and other initiatives.
3.4 KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Acts as a consultant for clients and internal teams
  • Demonstrates understanding of main external influences on company's goals
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrates consistency and flawless execution in the handling of a greater project load of higher complexity and visibility
  • Keep aware of current developments and trends in marketplace
  • Quality of deliverables from self/team
  • Quality of overall performance of team
  • Responsible for timeliness [project and communications] of self/team
3.5 MAIN INTERACTIONS

  • Members of own team and extended Capabilities team
  • Members of client service team
  • Internal Support (HR, Office) team members
  • Global data visualization and IT teams

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • Post-Secondary education in Computer Science (or similar area) with an emphasis on programming or equivalent experience. 5+ years' experience in dealing with data integration, data analytics/ statistics, and report automation
  • Language Skills English: fluency

Business English:
fluency French: an asset

  • Technical Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong project management skill and multitasking ability
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, and VBA
  • Experience in relational database management systems and SQL
  • Knowledgeable in Tableau or Power BI or other online dashboarding tools Sound knowledge of web design (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, and responsive design)
  • Experience with SPSS is an advantage
