Position Summary:
This two-part project focusses on estimating the climate resiliency of dams, bridges and overpasses.

For the first part, project will identify vulnerable regions with respect to flooding using appropriate datasets and analysis, followed by the development of a framework for detailed dam-level vulnerability analysis using CFD modelling.

This will be done under the supervision of Prof. Agus Sasmito.

Other Skills and Abilities:
Experience working on high-performance computing infrastructure such as the Digital Research Alliance clusters is desirable. Experience in GIS, Matlab and R computing platform can be useful for the projects.

Knowledge of French and English:

McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.

The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 on a scale of 0-4.

Hourly Salary:
$30.00
