Key Responsibilities:


  • Set up and configure workstations, IT hardware, and peripherals.
  • Set up Windows and Mac machines both remotely and onpremises.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ITrelated issues.
  • Provide IT support to all employees.
  • Maintain and update hardware and software inventory.
  • Create, maintain and update the IT documentation systems.
  • Ensure the security of company data by implementing and maintaining security protocols.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to resolve ITrelated issues.
  • Train employees on new hardware and software.
  • Provide technical assistance for conferences and events.
  • Assist with other ITrelated tasks as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Located in Vancouver, BC, and willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac machines
  • Experience with MS 365/Office, Active Directory.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge in printers, DHCP and DNS protocols, TCP/IP, Clients Terminal Services.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge about the VPN, Exchange and Intune.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Familiarity with IT security protocols and best practices
  • Availability to work fulltime during the Co-Op term.
  • Familiarity with setting up workstations and IT hardware.
