Description
We are a residential builder looking for an experienced handyman to join our team.Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks including: drywall, patching, taping, caulking, paint touchups, minor finished carpentry, basic plumbing repairs etc.
- Ensure the houses are ready for other trades as required
- Assisting with the transport of materials as required
- Ability to identify and assess construction deficiencies and perform repairs in a timely manner
- Present themselves in a professional and customer focused manner in all interactions with homeowners
- Follow direction from Manager(s) in providing general assistance on various project sites in a variety of capacities
- Perform all job duties in a healthy and safe manner and in accordance with health and safety standards set out by the Company and Ministry of Labour
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in home building
- Experience with constructions tools
- Organized with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Self motivated and enthusiastic
- Reliable and dependable
- Must have a valid G driver's license
- Willing to assist multiple job sites, residential and commercial facilities simultaneously
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Handyman / Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- G driver's license (required)
