We are now looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ontario, Industry and Water segment


Day Shift:
Monday to Friday, on call for emergencies.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of combined maintenance and industrial planning experience, ideally in a chemical manufacturing environment;
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial or chemical engineering in the chemical industry. Years of experience related to planning or maintenance can be compensated for the Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • High level computer skills
  • Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Internet (i.e. SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of SAP software is an asset.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Maintenance of preventive and corrective maintenance schedule and SAP master data
  • Plan and coordinate resources to maximize the efficiency of the Maintenance department. This includes issuing work orders, purchasing materials and parts, and managing inventory.
  • Manage regulatory inspections of equipment.
  • Responsible for managing the Management of Change process (MOC).
  • Participate in the implementation of Kemira's process safety standard, including process risk analysis, prestartup safety assessment, safe operating procedures, safe operating limits, etc.
  • Manage CAPEX projects at various stages including quoting, submitting and installation
  • Work in accordance with Kemira standards and industry best practices.
  • Act as a technical resource for maintenance personnel
  • Coordinate and communicate with external contractors and vendors
