Responsibilities:


  • Working closely with CEO to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to support the growth and expansion of our education group's operations.
  • Providing leadership and guidance in managing the daytoday operations of our colleges, schools and education services, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities, and working closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
  • Driving operational efficiency by identifying process improvement opportunities, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology solutions.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems that enhance operational effectiveness and ensure compliance.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor operational performance, and regularly reviewing and analyzing data to drive informed decisionmaking.
  • Developing an indepth understanding of key revenue and expense drivers, and establishing robust KPI reporting to track and provide appropriate visibility.
  • Providing key insights into the business drivers of financial results to be used by internal management and for external investor purposes.
  • Representing the education group in external engagements, partnerships, and industry forums, enhancing the group's reputation and brand.

Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma in business administration, economics, education or a related field. Advanced degree would be a strong asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the education industry or academic framework.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of postsecondary education environments, educational governance, academic planning, international education landscape, best practices, etc.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis, with the ability to develop and manage complex budgets.
  • Indepth knowledge and skills in financial forecasting and performance measurement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, change management, and project management.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong English reading, written and verbal skills.

Wage & Benefits
- $112,000 to $116,000 per year, based on experience and skills
