Position Summary:
- _

Scoping Review:
Conduct systematic scoping review on community
- and system-based approaches to Indigenous food _security/sovereignty._ This involves gathering (screening, selecting), synthesizing, and analyzing relevant literature to inform research initiatives._
- _

Knowledge Translation:

Facilitate knowledge translation and capacity building activities in Kahnawake pertaining to community-based food system research project and the planning a research summit event.

Engage with community stakeholders to disseminate research findings effectively._
- _Supervision: Provide guidance and supervision to summer students University and high school level involved in nutrition research projects. Ensure the timely completion of tasks and adherence to project objectives._

Administrative Support:

Assist with various administrative tasks as required, such as coordinating meetings, taking notes, drafting short project descriptions, and contributing to proposal writing and manuscript preparations.

Qualifications:
- _BSc and 2 years research expereince_
- _Familiar with community-based research projects and relationship building_
- _Familiar with system dynamics research methodologies_
- _Experience working with Indigenous communities_
- _Strong planning, coordinating and organizing skills_
- _Excellent time management_
- _Familiarity with the academic environment an asset_
- _Proficient in MS Office, web-based software's, business meeting calendar & meeting software; McGill Library system, social media_
- _Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as within a team setting_
- _Very strong written and verbal communication skills_
- _English
