Position Summary:

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining an effective food safety and quality assurance system.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily quality control tasks (weight check, temperature check and labels etc.).
Calibration program (ATP machine, thermometer, scale).
Perform preoperation inspection, equipment swabbing, environmental monitoring processes.
Monitors and reports on emerging issues related to GMP, sanitation, pest control and food safety.
Responsible for employees training
Perform water/air testing and determine action plan if deviation occurs
Maintain a safe work environment through deployment and monitoring of lockout/tag out and MSDS training and monitoring processes
Routinely maintain food safety documentation
Provide training, support and conduct compliance audits to ensure alignment and compliance to effective quality systems
Develop documentation that are effectively adopted and maintained
Attend QA team meetings.
Perform monitoring and verification activities for HACCP and Prereqs and food defense
Implementation of HACCP and Food safety program
Ensuring all training, SOPs and record reviews are completed as per schedule
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

College/associate degree in science or related
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical and problemsolving skills;
Ability to adapt and be a quick learner in a fastpaced environment
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to perform with mínimal supervision;
Flexible working hours in business requirement, includes early morning or weekend shifts
Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and procedures;
Fluent in English.
Knowing Chinese would be an asset.
