About the position
Reporting to the Principal and the Vice-Principal and working closely with the Branch Coordinator, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Participate in scheduling teacher replacements (personal days, illness, PYP, MYP and outings)-
  • Reconcile absence report and send to senior HR manager and HR assistant-
  • Record student attendance-
  • Act as the first point of contact over the phone for the West Campus-
  • Lunch and recess duties-
  • Co-curricular activities (update website, schedule providers, (ensure police checks, insurance, WSIB, first aid and Epipen training are current, enrol students, register attendance, supply accounting with trip activity sheet, manage billing)-
  • Manage billing for activities/outings and childcare-
  • Ensure the school has sent and received all parental permission ahead of off-campus activities-
  • Maintain students' OSR files-
  • Collect summer forms and organize the camp binders-
  • Use the Maplewood system to manage teacher and student schedules-
  • Administrative duties such as printing report cards for OSR (PK to Grade 7), reflection sheets (PK to Grade 5) and document filing-
  • Order and distribute supplies for office and teachers upon arrival-
  • Attend staff meetings and take minutes-
  • Other duties as determined by the principal office-
  • Accompany during school or sports outings if necessary (swimming pool, skating rink...)
