Since 1997, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) has delivered public safety services on behalf of the government of Ontario.

Inspector, Boiler, and Pressure Vessel Program in GTA.
Inspector employees are represented by the Ontario Public Service Employee Union - OPSEU/SEFPO, Local 546.
Responsibilities:
- Promote public safety through the periodic/inservice inspection and certification of boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping
- Perform both conventional and nuclear shop inspections for the manufacturing of boilers and pressure vessels
- Develop progressive relationships with your internal and external customers to promote safetyoriented results
Job Requirements:
- Qualified to write the Ontario Certificate of Competency and will be able to obtain the National Board Commission and 'A' and 'N' Endorsements
- Five years' experience in the BPV industry is coupled with a comprehensive understanding of related CSA and ASME BPV codes, the Technical Standards and Safety Act, and BPV Regulations
- As this position requires daily travel, a valid Ontario driver's license is required.
