    The role is responsible for controlling traffic lane changes, traffics gates, coordinating lane changes with Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) and Seaway, and ensuring traffic safety by patrolling the bridge hourly and being the first responder in case of a traffic accident.

    Perform maintenance on buildings (inside and outside), such as replacing light bulbs, cleaning gatehouse windows and floors

    • Act as the relief team when required
    • Support and oversee different work carried out by the CN Victoria Bridge Attendants and contractors
    The role is primarily performed outdoors in various types of weather and environmental conditions

    • Must have a Driving License Class 5 issued by the SAAQ
    • Must be fluent in French and English
    • Must have the skills, knowledge, and physical capacity to operate all the equipment and tools, including a salter truck with a front plow, loader tractor and snow blower
    • Must be able to operate a tractor, a lawn mower, brush cutter and trimmer
    • Training
    The incumbent is required to attend formal classroom training for CPR and first aid.
