About the Role

  • As a Communications Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative responsibilities of the Communication's Team, dedicated to ensuring the seamless delivery of highquality services to all stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Director of Communications and will be joining a dynamic team of six.

Salary Range

Highlights of Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support
  • Manage administrative responsibilities for the Communications team, overseeing tasks such as printing, scanning, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Contribute to creating impactful promotional material by assisting in preparing brochures, reports, newsletters, and other promotional content.
Monitor inventory levels of print and promotional supplies. Record accurate minutes and meeting summaries.
Photography & Video Coordination- Assist in scheduling and coordinating the logistics of photoshoots and video filming.
Contribute to set decoration and set up for photo shoots and video filming.
Community Activities- Support in event planning, preparation, set-up, and take-down, including occasional errands and supply pickups for events coordinated by the communications team. Commit to continuous skill development in essential technology systems, including Adobe PDF, Adobe InCopy, Shopify, and WordPress.
Qualifications

  • Zero to one year of experience in an administrative position.
  • Related communications experience would be considered an asset.
  • Completion of high school or equivalent education with completion of position relevant program, courses, certificate, and/or diplomas.
  • Techforward mindset with a keen interest in mastering various systems, including Adobe PDF, Adobe InCopy, Shopify, and WordPress.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and consistently meet targeted deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills required to exchange jobrelated information with all levels of the organization, emphasizing common courtesy and tact.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and solutionoriented mindset.
  • Access to a vehicle and valid class 5 driver's license.
  • Clear Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sectors Check.
