Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to ensure efficient and costeffective procurement of goods and services
Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
Analyze market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings
Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast demand and manage inventory levels
Oversee the procurement process from purchase order creation to delivery of goods or services
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation
Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory management principles
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors

Skills:

Proficient in using purchasing systems and software to track orders, manage inventory, and analyze data
Knowledge of sourcing strategies to identify reliable suppliers who can provide quality products at competitive prices
Ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or delivery timelines
Experience in procuring both offtheshelf items as well as custommade or fabricated components/materials
