Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to ensure efficient and costeffective procurement of goods and services
- Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast demand and manage inventory levels
- Oversee the procurement process from purchase order creation to delivery of goods or services
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation
- Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory management principles
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
Skills:
- Proficient in using purchasing systems and software to track orders, manage inventory, and analyze data
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies to identify reliable suppliers who can provide quality products at competitive prices
- Ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or delivery timelines
- Experience in procuring both offtheshelf items as well as custommade or fabricated components/materials

$6,500.00-$8,000.00 per month
