Our company, Maxamin Decor, is one of the most prominent staging and interior decor companies in the GTA.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a growth mindset who is seeking a challenging position with a growing company.

Home stagers do not have typical days.

As part of our work, we collaborate with real estate agents and homeowners to understand their staging requirements by performing on-site assessments to evaluate their layout, condition, and potential.

During other days, we will be selecting furniture, accessories and other staging items in order to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of the space within established budgets and timelines.

Coordinating the logistics of furniture delivery, setup, and removal in accordance with the staging plan is a major part of our daily activities.

As well as staying up-to-date with current designs to attract the target market, there are also concerns relating to staging projects and inventory management, including the organization, maintenance, and updating of furniture and decor items in order to maximize efficiency.

Work hours and days depend on the number of projects, scope of work, and deadlines. We are seeking an Interior Decorator / Stager with passion, energy, and creativity to lead our staging projects.


Responsibilities:

• Engage in direct communication with the client
• Prepare a staging and decor plan
• Provide the client with information regarding the staging process and requirements
• Maintain communication with the client and the team
• Select decorative elements and assist with the packing and unpacking of staging and decor
• Staging with the client's own furniture, decluttering their space, advising owners as to what items should be removed to storage or rearranged, and removing personal items
• The installation and arrangement of decorations
• Budget and schedule management
• Administration of related paperwork
• Managing logistics and inventory

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in interior decor or home staging or a related field is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of design principals, color schemes, and current design trends
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Valid G driver's licence with clean driving record and access to a vehicle for onsite visits in the GTA
• Owning a smart phone and the ability to keep Instagram and company's social media platforms active and engaging
• Portfolio of decorating and staging work is an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required
• Knowledge of graphic software like Photoshop or Illustrator is preferred
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
