As the Financial Reporting Analyst, you will help provide financial reporting and analysis on a monthly basis.
You will load our financial information into our financial reporting software, consolidate our financial statements, and various financial and account analysis.
You will also provide analytical support within the Finance team during the month end. In addition, you will ensure the integrity of the financial statements, compliance with US GAAP and Stryker accounting policies. You will serve as a contributing member of the Finance team while championing Stryker's Mission and Values.Who we want

What you will do
- Primary contact for the consolidation of Stryker Canada financial results monthly, quarterly, and annually Preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting for financial results in assigned functional areas including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and Cash Flow reporting
- Establish/implement process improvement projects for the journals, reconciliation and reporting
- Prepare journal entries, analyze and reconcile accounts
- Responsible for adhoc analysis and information requests from business unit leaders
- Participates in annual Sarbanes Oxley testing of internal controls
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual tax filings
- Assist with various inventory reporting
- Assisting with various risk management compliance matters such as insurance
What you need
- Degree in Business with a concentration in accounting/finance is required
- Working towards the completion of professional accounting designation CPA preferred
- 1+ years of finance/accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP and Hyperion Financials would be an asset
