Description

Vision Truck Group is searching for an experienced Marketing Coordinator with drive and determination to provide the marketing functions and tasks for our multi branch company.

This person will have a high level of personal maturity and excellent inter-personal skills.

The Marketing Coordinator will support various programs through daily marketing administration, social media, working with HR in recruitment/retention strategies, implementing marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, preparing marketing strategies and planning promotional presentations.

While based at our head office in Cambridge, Ontario, there will be occasional travel to our other branches (London, Stoney Creek, Etobicoke, Brampton).


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration

  • Continuously update company website to be recent and engaging
  • Continuously update digital signage system to be recent and engaging
  • Assist HR and management to update and maintain career page on website and digital signage system
  • Updating various spreadsheets with accurate information
  • Keeping social media and event calendars up to date
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, pricing, market share and advertising
  • Design digital and print promotional materials using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Complete given projects in an efficient way

Social Media

  • Manage social media accounts across all platforms
  • Make engaging posts showing who we are and what we do
  • Monitor and respond to Google Reviews; when necessary, collaborating with Vice-Presidents, Directors, and Managers to respond in a timely and meaningful manner
  • Use social listening to monitor and maintain positive business reputation

Company Events

  • Plans meetings and events and does necessary coordination with contacts
  • Attend company events and take photos and video to capture the moments
  • Assist HR and management with planning and execution of recruitment events
  • Develop strong, positive relationships with all levels of employees within the Organization

Engagement

  • Actively participates in initiatives that improve the employee experience. Provides input into the planning and design of employee programs such as employee events and rewards/recognition. Promotes effective communication of programs, initiatives and projects across the company
  • Monitor Heavy Truck Industry events for potential business connection opportunities
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 1+ years of experience within Marketing or Advertising is required
  • Strong problemsolving skills, analytical thinking, organizational awareness, and high initiative are required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to function in a busy, open work environment. Accuracy and confidentiality is a must
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Heavy Truck Industry knowledge is an asset
  • Experience with video production and photography is an asset
  • Knowledge of production methods for printing promotional materials is an asset
  • Experience responding to Google Reviews is an asset
  • Experience in web design and website maintenance is an asset
  • Experience in Visual Merchandising is an asset
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
