ATTENTION
We are looking for an experienced shipper to join our growing team
Responsibilities
- Picking and packaging orders from stock and ensure product is properly packaged and ready for shipment.
- Wrap palletized shipments, stage and organize multiple orders in preparation for freight pickups.
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents.
- Scheduling outbound pickups from list of approved freight suppliers.
- Loading of goods from trucks.
- Maintains good housekeeping practice in work area.
Qualifications
- Experience in shipping required.
- Great time management, organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Computer literate.
- Able to grasp new concepts quickly.
- Ability to lift or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet truck.
- Be capable of preparing international shipping documents.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour
