Tacten is currently recruiting experienced IRATA Rope Access Journeyperson B-Pressure Welders to support the Syncrude Spring 2026 Shutdowns.This role involves performing ABSA-regulated pressure piping work in a high-hazard turnaround environment.
Position Details: Site Syncrude; Location Fort McMurray, AB ; Tentative Start Date March 2026; Tentative End Date June 2026;
Rotation 6 days on / 1 day off; Hours 12 hrs./day;
Perform pressure welding activities in support of turnaround and maintenance scopes.
- Weld using SMAW process in accordance with approved ABSA procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to Nova site safety quality and permit-to-work requirements.
