Description
SRK is seeking an experienced project manager to join our Canada Geoenvironmental team in Vancouver, BC.

The primary focus of the role will be to support multidisciplinary teams working on environmental assessment and permitting (primarily water management) as well as engineering design and construction.


Duties may include:

  • Coordinate tasks related to water management, water quality, and engineering studies.
  • Support and develop, in collaboration with technical leads, the review of all project stages, scopes, schedules, design criteria, studies, and constructability.
  • Coordinate subconsultants and contractors.
  • Ensure management of budgets, contracts and change control processes are followed in compliance with both internal and client procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation.
  • Coordinate and lead recurring Project progress meetings.
  • Provide guidance/mentorship to junior engineers and geoscientists.
  • Engineering or science degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological, Environmental, Mining or other related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the mining industry or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Leadership, analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and strong multitasking and organizational skills.
