    Grounds Care Aftermarket Advisor

    The Grounds Care Aftermarket Advisor role is essential in ensuring smooth operations between the Service and Parts departments, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting our technicians.

    What Does a Grounds Care Aftermarket Advisor Do?
    • Field internal and external customer inquiries regarding service and advise the Turf & CCE Shop Supervisor of any customer concerns.
    • Open, maintain, review, and close work orders promptly.
    • Assist in coordinating and scheduling Technician training.
    • Prepare and submit payroll for the Service department.
    • Update customer profiles with information from work orders.
    • Serve Grounds Care Technicians by efficiently locating and providing the correct parts.
    • Deliver parts to Technicians and assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
    • Assist with inventory counting and organization as required.
    • Suggest additional repair items to ensure the success of repairs.
    • Follow up on special orders and promptly notify Technicians upon receipt.
    • Stay current on new products and models, continuously upgrading parts knowledge.
    • Order and receive parts from suppliers, and manage shipping and receiving of stock.
    • Support customer clinics, field days, and related promotional events.
    • Strive to reach all monthly, quarterly, and annual aftermarket sales targets.

    Requirements

    What You Bring To The Table
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a dealership environment.
    • Knowledge of John Deere agriculture equipment is an asset.
    • Class 5 Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to be adaptable.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service and support.
    • Team player with excellent listening skills.
    • Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail.
    • Experience with computer applications including MS Office and other browser-based programs.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate with customers and employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Passion for agriculture.
