(TTCA) is a Tier 1 Automotive Parts Supplier to Toyota Manufacturing Facilities located in the heart of Norfolk County (Simcoe, ON).

We utilize state of the art technology to ensure our automotive parts are assembled with a high degree of quality.

Job Summary

As a member of the Plant Leadership Team, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for all the plant accounting functions including but not limited to, A/P, A/R, G/L, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Cashflow, Budget and Forecasting.

We are looking for a motivated hands-on leader who is a critical thinker and an inspirational mentor and coach.

This is a pivotal role as it involves working with all levels of the organization as well as external authorities.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Responsible for all plant accounting functions
Supervise and participate in the preparation of financial analysis and reports
Review financial statements with management and executive teams
Review of corporate taxes
Preparation of Annual/Semi-Annual budgeting and forecasting activities
Establish and monitor system controls for audit purposes
Develop and improve existing systems for all areas of responsibility
Develop and implement department goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management of the plant
Coordinate and manage physical inventory activities
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Education/Experience Desired:

Bachelor's degree or Accounting designation and (5) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 5 years manufacturing experience (automotive an asset)
Knowledge of IFRS
Knowledge of applicable provincial, federal and local legislation
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (AS400 or PLEX is an asset)

Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
