Role Purpose:

The Project Manager II will plan and coordinate all aspects and activities of assigned projects without direct managerial supervision. This role will manage and tightly control projects so that they are delivered on-budget, in-scope and on time.

It will also organize the teams necessary to lead the project, report results and ensure the project delivers the anticipated results.


Key Accountabilities:

Effectively create the critical path and manage stage gates of Customized point of purchase

Manages display projects for Consumer Packaged Goods

Ensure timely updates to project trackers with status updates and risk.

Leading weekly category meetings which include the customer, materials vendor and co-packer.

Effectively develop a plan to meet short lead time requests

Managing eliminating or identifying projects risks

Identifying escalating projects at risk when not meeting ship dates.


Required Education and Experience:

Project Management experience in a Point of Purchase, Packaging Material or Customized Consumer Packaged Goods environment

Ability to quickly manage change requests and identify completed tasks needing rework

Working for a Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Point of Purchase Display Company

Packaging materials - packaging mediums such as corrugated, paperboard, shrink wrap Packaging Development and Design i.e. development of new P.O.P structures


Artwork Development - exposure to/or working knowledge of creative artwork development, artwork approval process, print methods of packaging materials in a consumer packaged goods environment.

Basic understanding of GTIN/GS1 (UPC and SCC codes) and SAP is considered an asset

Salary:
$75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
