Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 end user support.
  • Ensure all IT infrastructure (local or cloud) is administered with emphasis on availability, reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Investigate and resolve any technical issues, coordinating with team members or external support providers as necessary.
  • Stay up to date with modern technology trends and products, provide guidance to team members, and direction on new project options.
  • Develop and maintain documentation.

Required

  • Computer Systems Technology Diploma is preferred.
  • 35 years of experience working in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
  • Strong verbal and written skills required.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information to a
    nontechnical audience.

Desired

  • Experience with virtualization (VMWare) is an asset.
  • Experience with networking and firewalls (Fortigate, Aruba, and Cisco) is an asset.
  • Experience with Cisco VOIP and IP telephony is an asset.
