Description

Rockstar Music is a network of university educated musicians, teachers and recording industry professionals.

We provide private, one-on-one, online and in-home music lessons, as well as community-based music programs, like Rock Bands and Uke jams.

We are currently looking for a Drum Instructor to join our team.

Requirements:

Access to a reliable vehicle to get to and from lessons
Reliable, patient, openminded and enjoy working with children
Able to work independently with limited to no supervision
Able to teach technique and repertoire in a fun, engaging manner
BA Music or completion of ARCT is considered an asset
ECEs & Ontario Certified Teachers are encouraged with rate premiums

Responsibilities:

Encourage the joy of making music
Help students develop the discipline and commitment required for success
Make learning just as fun as making music itself
Building a strong relationship with the students to better help them succeed
Give brief feedback to parents at the end of every lesson
