Stock Assistant Store Manager


As the Stock Assistant Store Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to the store team while successfully executing the company's vision and values under the direction of the Store Manager.

You will lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the stockroom, including the processing of shipment within 24 hours, maintaining an organized stockroom and the flow of merchandise to the floor.

As a member of the leadership team, you will assist in creating an inclusive environment, always putting our internal and external customers first.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

You contribute in maximizing store sales by managing a well-organized stockroom and efficiently operated flow of merchandise to the sales floor.

You are responsible for ensuring that the store's inventory integrity is maintained through proper shipping and receiving procedures and by communicating concerns to the Store Manager.

You motivate stock associates by providing direct coaching, feedback, training, and supervision in stockroom operations.

When needed on the Sales Floor, you inspire a consumer centric mindset by modeling selling behaviors through genuine interactions with customers for the teams to emulate.


How you will do it:

By consistently demonstrating clear communication, training, and coaching, you are setting expectations of stockroom directives, store policies and procedures.

You manage the shipping and receiving process within the store.

You lead an environment of productivity by ensuring the store team has the knowledge and skills to meet stockroom goals and operations.


What success looks like:

You and your team run a well-organized stockroom that efficiently allocates merchandise to the sales floor to support the business.

As a result, you meet and exceed sales results and business goals, while coaching and developing the store team. You foster an inclusive store environment and create great internal consumer experiences in all situations, leading by example.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional/
Retail Management Experience: 3+ years

Educational Position Requirements:

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.


  • What we expect you already know: Ability to meet store goals by driving results through store teams, how to strategically maintain organization in a fastmoving area of the store, how to coach and motivate a team to excel, proven communication skills, being solution oriented and ability to be flexible and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • What we will teach you: How to continually develop and lead a customer centric mindset and team, how to create and achieve aspirational goals for your team, elevate your ability to coach the team on process and procedures to maintain a wellrunning stockroom, and how to lead and work as a part of a successful leadership team.
