In May 2016, we added an extra 40,000 square feet addition to our existing facility, allowing us to address the demand for our products.

Responsibilities
The Yard and Warehouse Inventory Supervisor contributes to the success of ICE Western by ensuring the following:

• Yard and Warehouse are properly organized, set up and managed
• Provision of materials to 2 manufacturing plants promptly
• Improvement of the material handling, shipping and receiving processes
• Improvement of productivity and efficiency of the team
• Reporting of KPI of the Yard and Warehouse Management
• Development of others by training the shipping/receiving and material handling staff setting expectations, providing feedback and recognizing and rewarding good performance
• Understanding and transferring warehouse operations knowledge to others including resource requirements, layout, route/bulk/transport loading, etc.
• Enforces Safety Policies and Guidelines including cleanliness of yard and warehouse.
• Additional duties maybe assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in managing, organizing and improving yard and warehouse.
• 3+ years work experience in a supervisory position preferred
• Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite and Shipping and Receiving ERP
• Forklift and Crane certified

Skills & Capabilities:

• Strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and influence management skills
• Incumbent must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without losing momentum while also completing all daily tasks efficiently and effectively
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
• Has excellent forklift and crane skillset and experience.
