Job description:

As an Inventory Clerk, you will assist in the Inventory Management System.


Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited, to the following duties outlined below:

  • Scan products in the warehouse with Barcode
  • Adding items to w/o pulled out by techs. from stock room for w/o and give the printed copy of w/o with all items mentioned on it.
  • Products that do not have Barcodes
  • Identify products that do not have Barcodes
  • Print Barcodes
  • Scan the Barcode
  • Perform the Physical Inventory Count
  • Printed & placed inventory tags
  • Physical count
  • Worked on variance report
  • Tag entry
  • Logistics Shipping and Receiving
  • P/O receiving. Checking pricing & GL code. Contacting Assistant Controller to get correct GL codes.
  • Logistic shipping includes changing status for w/o in sage, transfer of stock etc.


  • Product verification

  • Receiving physical items, check quantity & item no. according to purchase order. Return wrong items to admins with copy of packing slip or sometimes informing vendors about the wrong items received to get them replaced.
  • Contact vendor to get order confirmation/invoice.
  • Update receipts to match order confirmation/invoice.
  • Printing updated p/o, order confirmation and making package ready for manager's signature/approval.
  • Placing stock items in key room with labels on those.
  • Staging Items which are specifically for w/o on shelf.
  • Once p/o in received in system, change w/o status in sage and add receipt no. in Brampton shared inbox, move item in completed folder if p/o is fully received. If not mention b/o items with quantity.
  • Informing salesperson if items are ordered by them for the projects.
  • Receiving physical items from other branches Product verification
  • Receiving physical items and counting the quantity as per packing slip.
  • Mark them with p/o
  • Scan and send p/w to pertain branch admins and salesperson
  • Transfers and Adjustment
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience requirements:


  • Intermediate computer skills (particularly EXCEL)
  • Data entry skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment

Knowledge / Education requirements:


  • Postsecondary education
  • College student
