Global Banking and Markets provides a full range of credit, risk management and investment banking products and services relevant to the financing and strategic development needs of our clients.

Your GWO Experience:


As an Analyst in Global Wholesale Operations, you will ensure specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

As well as ensure that all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

As an operation's professional, GWO will provide you the opportunity for hands-on learning about the role of Operations in the trade lifecycle, data analysis, and process improvement.

We empower our team to ensure Scotiabank remains efficient, effective and innovative. This includes partnering with our businesses to provide strategic guidance, problem solve and answer tough questions.

Requirements:


  • Undergraduate degree
  • Great opportunity for recent grads
  • A passion and interest in GWO/ financial market space
  • Exceptional communication, organized, able to multitask, work well under pressure.
  • Experience in VBA, Excel, Power BI, Project experience, ADP, 6 Sigma, Broadridge, ION product, Murex, Xceptor, smart stream products
  • TLM and gloss is considered an asset
  • Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to overcome challenges presented by a constantly changing work environment
