The value-added features include making payments with credit cards and exploring favourite merchants and cash-back cards along with the data-driven marketing solutions that allow us to deliver the best in-store and online shopping experience to Users. The interactive platform also benefits the Merchants with a higher level of brand loyalty.

    In order to serve more merchants and users, we are expanding our business and adding more new functions, so that Snaplii can become a digital wallet commonly used by people in North America.

    About the Role

    We are looking for an experienced Vice President, Operations who is an experienced and creative individual who can seek new and innovative ways to grow the product and increase app engagement. This role is a highly cross-functional role and plays a very strategic role for the future of Snaplii. Not only are we looking for someone that is comfortable building effective MVPs (0 -1), but we would like this individual to help scale the product and features that we find successful. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and building features at all levels of the stack.

    You Will:

    • Plan and strategize internal and external growth engines
    • Always be on the hunt for and testing new growth opportunities – including testing new channel and acquisition opportunities, with a focus on deriving robust and reliable insights
    • Leading departments and operations of the company
    • Budgeting for multiple projects, including monitoring and controlling costs
    • Guiding, directing and evaluating the work of management and executive team members
    • Creating and implementing a strategic plan
    • Leveraging company output to improve ranking in the competitive field
    • Tackling unforeseen issues and troubleshooting
    • Monitoring the competitive landscape and attending industry events to stay abreast of new initiatives and ways to stay ahead
    • Identifying, training and developing leaders within the company and setting them on a path for management
    • Work closely with tech, product & design teams to build and implement marketing initiatives, ensuring teams working towards clear goals, deliverables & timelines

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with minimal 7 years experience in a senior management role ideally in Fintech industry experience gained in a high-growth organization
    • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization
    • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict< resolution skills
    • Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
    • Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask
    • Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
    • Self reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
    • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives.
    • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management
    • Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion in payment/Fintech
