Isidore Landscapes has been designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in the lower mainland since 1994. We've built strong working relationships with construction companies, home builders, and landscape architects.

Our technical expertise allows us to interpret, create, install, and maintain varied and complex landscape designs for all types of landscape projects.

Carpenter


We are in search of an experienced Carpenter to keep up with our increasing amount of commercial landscape installations throughout the Lower Mainland.

Duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Follow drawings and specifications to construct fences, decks, trellises, benches, and other landscape structures.
  • Work in collaboration with the project managers, lead hands and foremen to review details and communicate about issues in advance.
  • Pick up tools, materials, and supplies as needed.
  • Instruct laborers to complete rudimentary carpentry tasks.
  • Possess the basic understanding of the BC Building Code & Lower Mainland bylaws

Requirements of the position include:

  • Must be reliable, punctual and possess a strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cohesively within a team environment
  • Minimum three years' related experience.
  • Must possess knowledge of common exterior installation types, products, and techniques
  • Strong ability to work independently and see tasks through to completion
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality finished products in a timely cost effective manner
  • Valid BC driver's license.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Willingness to be a part of a collaborative and encouraging team

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$30.00-$35.00 per hour


Benefits:


  • Extended health and dental benefits(including Life insurance and Long Term Disability) following 3month probation period
  • DPSP following 1 year of employment
  • Profit sharing at the end of the year depending on company's performance

Schedule:

  • 8hour shift

Experience:


  • Carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
  • Construction: 1 year (preferred)
