Electrical Field Service Technician - Vancouver, Canada - Island Technical Installations Ltd.

Description

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on HV and LV equipment.
• Conduct retrofits and upgrades to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Execute commissioning procedures for new installations and equipment.
• Perform Infrared (IR) Scans and analyze results to identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely and effective completion of projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports and documentation.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• FSR-A (Field Safety Representative Class A), or PSE (Power System Electrician), or CET (Certified Engineering Technologist), or P.Eng (Professional Engineer) designation.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical field service.
• Currently residing in Vancouver, BC.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
