Analyst, Finance Transformation - Toronto, Canada - OMERS
Description
We are looking for an Analyst, Finance Transformation to join us for a contract from February 2023 to December 2024.
Reporting to the Director, Finance Systems, this role is responsible for supporting Finance Transformation initiatives, including implementation of a new Finance ERP.
The team works in a hybrid/ agile manner for its project delivery and ongoing operations.This role provides opportunities to work across the entire Finance function and gain exposure to many different aspects of the team.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
Providing project management support for the Finance ERP implementation
Understanding business requirements and supporting design of future state
Developing recommendations and authoring presentations
Supporting development and updates to project documentation
Developing communications for project leadership and other stakeholders of the transformation
Other contributions, as the team may need and as opportunities arise
To succeed in this role, you have:
Strong PowerPoint and storyboarding skills
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter, proactive and motivated to create positive change
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in project delivery
Knowledge of Accounting & the Finance function
Familiarity with Finance ERP software
Experience working at a professional services firm
