Skills and abilities:
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills
- Excellent oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of local and provincial resources as they relate to program
- Ability to function independently in high stress situations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to manage program budgets and write proposals
- Develop the direction, activities and components of the program
- Provide support, guidance and direction to program staff
- Oversee the daily operations of the programs
- Perform assessments, develop action plans and refer clients to appropriate supports
- Ensure that up to date client and program records are maintained
- Responsible for the administrative duties, statistics and budgets for the program
- Assist in personnel activities such as hiring, staff training and disciplinary issues
- Keep open communication lines with other agencies and resources as they relate to the programs
Salary:
$26.00-$29.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Williams Lake, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
