    Description
    Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor

    Midas is dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience.

    We are looking for an automotive service advisor to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. Our company is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver exceptional customer service and sales while listening and consulting with customers
    • Follow up with customers on requested services, estimated completion times, etc.
    • Oversee complete vehicle diagnostic inspections and make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
    • Create, deliver, and discuss pricing estimates with customers, as well as promote shop service specials
    • Lead, manage, and train team members while keeping in tune with our vision, purpose, core values
    • Supervise sales and service processes
    • Oversee technicians' diagnostic inspections and repairs of domestic & imported cars, and light trucks
    • Maintain inventory counts
    • Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility

    Qualifications:
    • A minimum of 3 years of store or service manager experience
    • General automotive knowledge; automotive mechanic experience preferred
    • Excellent customer service disposition
    • Good communication skills
    • Leadership ability
    • Team-building skills
    • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including rotating half-day Saturdays
    • Valid driver's license
    • Past experience demonstrates ability to enhance sales success and drive shop growth
