- Assist in planning, control and supervision of maintenance work and operation of all landscaping as well as interior and exterior building components at the sites.
- Work on site and at the office, providing hands-on completion of work as a mentor and an example for the rest of the team.
- Daily inspection of site assets / infrastructure to ensure overall presentation and condition meets standards and quality expectations client.
- Prioritize and coordinate implementation of work assignments with the team.
- Examine potential unsafe working conditions and order corrective action.
- Identify staff training needs and assist with development of training programs, including preventative maintenance, proper use of tools and equipment, safety, etc.
- Oversees daily routine and preventive maintenance works are completed on time and will play a key role in the development of preventive maintenance routines, frequencies, and schedules, ensures the efficient utilization of manpower, supplies, utilities and equipment in a cost-effective manner while providing quality service delivery to all staff, sites and visitors at the sites.
- Participate in employee development and provide appropriate training to the new EDFS Landscaping hourly employees.
- Coordinate external contractors work for a variety of repairs and maintenance projects and assessing all conditions and modifications to the site equipment and buildings to identify life cycle capital project potential.
- Minimum of 3 years previous supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical and control drawings; knowledge of building automation systems, life safety system, electrical systems and HVAC including boiler, chiller, cooling tower, pumps, motors, heat exchanger and AHU.
- Previous experience in a hospitality and/or healthcare setting is a must have.
- Previous warehouse/manufacturing, or production plant experience
